Book Review
Title: Quantum Mechanics of Homeopathy; Homeopathic Medicine, A Depiction of Quantum Pharmacology.
Reviewer remarks: The title of the book is self-explanatory and very interesting. Being a pharmacist, food scientist and microbiologist, I find the book very interesting, as it attracts the attention towards an innovative field application of pharmacy “Quantum Pharmacology”. I have always believed in allopathic medicine system and never get any fascination for Homeopathy, but after I went through this book, I came across the in-depth knowledge of the author on homeopathy and its applications with case studies. The author proved by treating the complicated cases, where the sophisticated available therapies failed.
The author has developed various postulates regarding the dosing schemes, influences of meal and patient health conditions on treatment strategies. These postulates can be future research direction for the upcoming medical practitioners and scientists.
The working mechanisms of homeopathic medicines are nicely explained with scientific elaborations. The role of electrical potential within human body and its importance in homeostasis are very innovative and nicely explained.
Unlike the orthodox books, this book is based on practical applications and the author presented personally treated cases that were declared to be incurable/irreversible. Therefore, in my opinion this book should be in curriculum of practitioners, so that they can get benefit from the experience and novel applications of homeopathy. I must congratulate the author; Dr. Bashir A. Malik for compiling the comprehensive and innovative ideas by developing a practical link between homeopathy and pharmacology.
